ABOUT CHARMIN
If you've ever sat across from someone handing you a checklist: VA claim, résumé, LinkedIn, "use your benefits" and felt the quiet devastation of realizing none of it touches who you actually are now, you already know why this practice exists. You don't need another resource. You need someone who will sit in the truth of your transition with you and help you build something real.
And if you lead an organization that keeps saying the right things and losing the right people anyway, you already know the problem isn't the mission statement. It's the gap between what you say you value and what your systems actually reward. That gap is fixable. That's also this work.

THE STORY
Charmin N. Jacobs spent more than 22 years in the U.S. Navy doing the thing she was born to do: teaching people how to grow. She built training programs, designed curriculum, led equal opportunity and workforce teams across Navy Medicine and did all of it while navigating what it means to be a woman, a veteran, and a queer Black woman in an institution that was not always built with her in mind.
She watched high-performing women get passed over. She watched organizations pour resources into initiatives that never reached the people who needed them most. She watched women separate from the military with medals, commendations, and two decades of irreplaceable leadership experience and then spend years feeling lost in a civilian world that had no framework for what they carried.
When she separated, she could have built a resume-polishing service. She could have opened another leadership training company with stock photos of handshakes. She built neither of those things. She built a practice that goes where the real work is, into the identity, the transition, the culture, and the systems that shape what becomes possible for people.
That practice is Teachable Learnable Solutions. And it works because she has been every person she now serves.

FOR WOMEN VETERANS
FOR WOMEN VETERANS
Not the version you settled into because you didn't know what else to do. Not the next deployment in civilian clothes. The one where you wake up feeling like yourself — where your work fits your values, your relationships reflect who you've become, and the person looking back in the mirror isn't still waiting for permission to take up space.
That is what six months inside the Success After Discharge framework produces. Not for every woman — for the ones who are ready to do the real work. If that's you, the first step is a conversation.

FOR ORGANIZATIONS
Not because of a policy. Not because of a perks package. Because the culture you built actually matches the values on your wall. Because your managers know how to lead across difference. Because people feel seen before they feel evaluated and that changes everything about how they perform and whether they stay.
That is what this consulting work builds, not awareness, not compliance, but durable organizational capability. The kind that holds when the consultant leaves. If your organization is ready for that, let's talk about what it takes.
